Sustainability Awareness

Our environmentally sustainable management (ESDM) team complements our existing Commercial Management team so we can optimally manage and maximise returns on assets that use best possible ESD solutions.

How?

Our specialised ESDM team understands ESD assets and their foundations. Our people have pioneered this team approach across all main service areas and across our offices.

Each team member has either or both accreditations in

  1. Australian Building Greenhouse Rating (ABGR); and
  2. Green Star, Office Design V2 (Green Star).

This empowers us to

  •   Understand the complex legal issues surrounding ‘green leases’ and act effectively and efficiently for landlords;
  •   Understand environmental objectives agreed  between the landlord and tenants and ensure these objectives are met;
  •   Advise tenants and potential tenants on energy and water use performance criteria, fit-out design and equipment to support any environmental objectives;
  •   Develop Energy Management Plan;
  •   Assist tenants to establish Building Management Committees and ensure Energy Management Plans are implemented;
  •   Conduct energy performance monitoring and rectify problems;
  •   Report annually on the environmental performance such as energy, greenhouse emissions, water use and waste recovery;
  •   Facilitate annual NABERS Energy ratings (previously Australian Building Greenhouse ratings; and
  •   Advise on improvement of environmental performance
